Mijbil invented games with a ping-pong ball. He learnt to turn on the tap to get running water. He followed the author without a lead. He showed affection by rubbing his face against the author's. All these show his intelligence and need for love.

2. Why was the otter named 'Maxwell's Otter'?

The otter was of a race previously unknown to science and was eventually christened by zoologists as Lutrogale perspicillata maxwelli, or Maxwell's otter.
